Uma & Shiva Set: bronze sculpture, gold brown patina, Hindu Art, Perfect condition. One owner, us, bought these as a set in New York City, on Broadway, from a private shop of a woman who lived in Tibet. They are finely detailed, with golden brown, gold, and red patinas. The faces are painted beautifully.

They are (Uma) 8 1/2 high x 7 wide x 5 deep, and (Shiva) 8 1/2 high x 5 1/2 wide x 4 1/4 deep. Solid bronze, these figures sit upon their base highly detailed as well. Shiva holds a bronze artifact that is separate from the main statue, and fits in his hands. Together they make a stunning pair. A true collectors item, this is a real treasure. I used the word new because there is absolutely no wear.

I do not know the provenance of this set, other than the owner comes from Tibet and buys in Tibet. I will not separate these two sculptures. (Sanskrit: Daughter of the Mountain) also called Uma, wife of the Hindu god Shiva.
