Very Rare 1976 Canada Post Olympic Stamp Set by Johnson Matthey Mallory in 24 karat Gold. The set is not in "mint" condition, as it is a RESCUE from the Refiners. It is in "very fine" condition as shown in the photographs. Each set has three distinct stamps, each stamp weighs 23.33 grams in pure gold, one of the Fencer with an 8+2 indicator; one of the Boxer with a 10+5 indicator and one of Wrestling with a 15+5 indicator. The entire set is 70 grams of pure gold, equating to 2.25 Troy Ounces of 24k gold.

All the stamps are as shown in the photos (with minute blemishes or micro scratches). They were rescued from the refiners by a very astute heads up individual before they got melted down. This set is stamped 000910, as a unique indicator for the collection. Good luck to the collector who always wanted this VERY RARE set.
